At Splash and Paddle Swim School we place great significance on 4 specific principles. These principles run through each & every lesson, each & every teacher and each & every parent & child.
They are:

Safety: integral to every lesson. With this principle at the core of all that we do then the following three values can flourish. |

Confidence: an important part of the teacher/pupil relationship is instilling confidence into the swimmer. Confidence breeds success!!! |

Understanding: we put quite a lot of emphasis on the importance for the swimmer to understand why & what they are doing, i.e. explanations of certain movements or the idea behind the strokes. If you understand the concepts of swimming you will become a better more proficient swimmer. |

Enjoyment: used to engage the pupil within a lesson and helps encourage & motivate the swimmer when in an unfamiliar environment. |
